Voit Studios' residential services fall into two categories, construction and furnishings. Our goal is to provide a completely stress-free design process that produces unique interiors customized to our clients' taste and life style. We design it all, from historical Hawaiian plantation homes to luxury modern resort homes on the Kohala Coast.
Voit Studios offers each project a private Client Page where a client can login to see their project status. These pages contain all deliverables, items up for review and approval. Clients have online access to all the design files they need wherever they are. This has been beneficial as many clients live off island.

Residential Design Process

During the initial meeting we discuss the design process, budget, project's scale and scope. We then provide you a contract and flat fee for services to commence work. In the programming phase we analyze the timeline, budget, desired style, survey and inventory. In the schematic design phase we present the preliminary design for key areas for client review. Then in the design development phase we fully develop all spaces per the concept. At this point Voit Studios provides the design presentation where every item is illustrated. Once approved by the client the documentation phase commences where all drawings and specifications are completed and issued for pricing. Voit Studios presents the full budget for client approval which commences procurement or the construction administration phase. Our last step is procurement and installation of all goods.

The interior designers at Voit Studios are committed to follow your desired concept through to every detail. 3D modeling and renderings can be provided so you feel at ease even before construction begins.
Depending on what other professionals are involved we can provide the following:
-Drawings: site plan, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, power and data plans, elevations, sections and details.
-Specifications: doors + windows, hardware, light + plumbing fixtures, architectural finishes (wall), equipment + appliances, restroom
accessories, etc. Architectural finishes include: wood finish, millwork, flooring, tile + stone, paint + wall finish, window coverings.
-Project management and site visits during construction.

Whether you are building a new home or want to refresh your interior Voit Studios can provide you design, furniture, art and accessories to complete your home. We work with you to develop your desired look and feel of the home. Clients review and approve each step along the way including furniture plan options and preliminary design selections. At the end of the Design Development phase we walk the client through the design presentation. This document calls out every furniture piece, art and accessory item as well as their fabric and finish selections. We design and commission custom furniture locally as much as possible. However, we have an international network of vendors who provide us excellent pricing that we pass on to our clients. After the complete budget is reviewed and approved by the client we commence procurement. We take care of everything for you from ordering to installation of goods.
