Linear shower drains aren't the only game in town. Also known as channel drains they have been growing in popularity and now are more competitively priced. With numerous sizes and outlet locations they can fit the existing needs during a remodel. Tile-in covers can reduce the visibility of a large drain and because you only need to slope in one direction a lot less tiles need to be cut. Some great brands are: Quick drain, Infinity Drain, FreeStyle and Aquabocci Poresta has some fantastic drain designs like this one, Poresta Slot. This design drains in two directions and can be accessed in the corner. Similar in look to the Halo by Omvivo this is a standard drain but with a sleek cover to give it a minimalist look. This version is $7 on LightBox. MTI Shower Bases are a simple solution and save on labor. MTI's Boutique Collection is made from an Engineered Solid Stone with a matte finish for a flawless look. This Easy Drain is hidden in the floor with a triangle access, Easy Drain S-line. Rohe Panorama Shower Bench is a seamless design with hidden drain and can be found at the Minimalist Design Store.
